Hi, fantastic product, really like the multi payment and multi interest change options. Is there a way to export as csv/excel and import again before adding any pre-payments. It will easy to import already calculated values, instead of typing them all over again. Thanks once again.

This is the best emi calculator ever I have seen. Adding a prepayment by our choice is great work done by you. Even in the bank websites doesn’t have the prepayment options like yours. I explained to my family the benefits of the prepayment. Thanks for this product.
admin says:
Thank you very much and glad that it helped you.
Prabhakaran K says:
This is the tool I am looking for, especially in mobile apps. But no app provides this feature of saving the history along with the partial prepayment details. I like that feature of exporting and importing the input files very much.
Also the explanations in the other pages is very useful.
Now I left searching for mobile apps with the above features and started using this desktop application.
If you have a mobile app also let us know. Or in future if anything published, please share with us.
Thanks a lot.

Does anyone maintain this ? The reduce EMI option doesn’t seem to work . I change the ROI and then try to reduce emi , the emi doesnt change at all.
admin says:
Sorry for late reply. Kindly check reduced EMI from Amount Payable(EMI+Prepayment) column in Table view for the next month. As there could be multiple EMI reductions, it was not shown in main results area.
Thanks.

This tool is outstanding, Prepayment structure is very good. I would like to ask, instead of single disbursement, if there are multiple disbursement from bank as per the builder demand, bank will disburse the amount multiple time, so loan outstanding will start updating. can we get that feature in this tool.
admin says:
Thanks for your feedback, will check on this.

Hi Team,
Export data is working and i got the output in Excel format.
While doing a Import operation on a New Page… its not getting imported.
I am using the same Excel File which i got in Export.
Additionally, i have tried pasting the data into Text file and Importing, but still no change.
admin says:
Hi,
Thanks for Checking. Export input is to export Loan Amount, Interest Rate, Tenure, Loan Start Month and Prepayment Section data as text file.
When you import this text file, you can start where you left off.
Thanks.
Abhishek Asthana says:
can you help me with a sample text file for import(probably email me with Prepayments)…. (Since the export file is .xls)
admin says:
Hi Abishek,
After you choose Loan Amount, Interest Rate, Tenure and Loan Start Month. Also fill prepayment section if you have any.
Once done, Kindly use “Export Input” button to export the text file. Close the site and next time, use the “Import Input” to import the text file you previously exported.
Exported excel file does not relate to this option.
Thanks.

I was looking for this tool from so long. it just makes mortgage calculations and financial planning such a breeze. Really loved it..
Though I understand it can not actually calculate everything correct as we add multi part payments but it fulfils the purpose

Hi,
In home loan for the past 1 year repo rate got reduced 2 times by .50 % each.
Is there a possibility of inclusion of change of interest rate for a certain time duration?
admin says:
Hi,
To apply prepayment interest:
First, navigate to the “Click to show prepayment” section. In the dropdown, select “Interest Rate” and then enter the interest rate in the designated field. Choose your desired start and end dates. For the EMI Option, please select “Reduce Tenure” (to reduce / increase EMIs for change in interest rate) and then click the “Add Interest” button. The new interest rate will be applied to the calculation. You’re welcome to add multiple interest rate changes as needed.
Finally, remember to use the “Export input” option to save your entries as a .txt file. This will allow you to quickly import them next time using the “Import input” feature, saving you from re-entering everything.
Thanks.

Hi, this calc is fantastic. Could you also add one more calc for systematic investment plan for certain years which will grow at certain CAGR and then convert it in to systematic withdrawal plan.
This should also be having adding one time L/S investment and withdrawing L/S amount as per need.
Rekha Mody says:
What if i have disbursed half the loan amount initially and the the remaining half loan to be disbursed after a year. How do i check the interest/emi amount as per the disbursment.
admin says:
If you have already disbursed the loan initially, the principal amount will be halved. Assuming you repay half of the principal after six months, go to the prepayment section, select the “One-Time” option, and enter the amount accordingly. You can then choose whether to reduce your EMI or the loan tenure — generally, reducing the tenure is preferred.
VB says:
Please consider the following scenario and help configure the same. The numbers are just for example and depict no real calculation.
1) 01-Jan-2023, disbursed Loan = 1500000, IR = 9%, EMI = 20000, total Tenure = 132 Months.
2) 01-Mar-2024, Additional disbursement = 700000, IR = 9%, EMI = 25000, total Tenure = ??
admin says:
Thanks for checking. At the moment, site does not support additional disbursement scenarios.

This is an excellent application and truly one of the best I have come across. I searched extensively on the internet for ways to manage our home loan, but I could not find any suitable or reliable solution apart from this app. It is very well designed, easy to use, and extremely helpful in simplifying loan management. I sincerely appreciate the team behind this application for their hard work, innovation, and dedication in creating such a valuable and user-friendly solution.

Debabrata Roy says:
Alternating between Reducing EMI and Reducing Tenure doesn’t seem to work currently. Otherwise great tool.
admin says:
Thanks for your feedback. The updated EMI values will be reflected in the table, while the EMI section itself will not show the change directly. The tenure calculation will be updated correctly.
